Dr. Tanner Gregory was born and raised in Lubbock, where he spent his childhood chasing wildlife, hitting baseballs, and working tirelessly to perfect his 3-point shot. After graduating high school, he attended Abilene Christian University and earned a degree in biology. He then headed to Dallas to obtain a D.D.S. degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
While in dental school, Dr. Gregory patiently endured the classroom, but greatly enjoyed the clinical aspects of his education. He earned the General Dentistry Program Award due to his instructors’ belief that he exemplified what it means to be an outstanding general dentist. He was also appointed to serve on the Student Integrity Issues Committee (SIIC) by his peers and instructors due to their recognition of his honesty and integrity. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Gregory’s decision to become a dentist was solidified during two dental mission trips to impoverished areas of rural Guatemala while in college. Through these experiences, he realized that by becoming a dentist he would obtain a unique set of skills that would allow him to help people in a way that few others could. It has been a lifelong dream for Dr. Gregory to be able to join and work alongside his dad, Dr. David Gregory. He plans to continue the legacy of trust and excellence established by his dad over the last 45 years.
Dr. Gregory married his high school sweetheart, Jasmine, in 2015. Halfway through dental school they were blessed by the arrival of their first baby, Levi, who is now a loud and rambunctious toddler. Dr. Gregory enjoys a wide variety of hobbies that include reading, running, cycling, fishing, hunting, scuba diving, watching movies, gardening, and spending time with family.
